THE FOUR PLAYERS BLACKBURN ARE LOOKING TO OFFLOAD IN JANUARY

The January transfer window is wide open and teams can now transact and do business with other teams as they plan to reshuffle their different squads ahead of the second half of the season. While some teams are looking to make purchases and additions, others are looking to let go of some fringe players in their squad to give room for arrivals. One of such clubs is Blackburn Rovers.

The club will be looking to make additions but are also planning a mass exodus as they are looking to let go of as many as seven players. The expected departures ara a couple of players who have been deemed surplus to requirements and they feel they need to make way so they can raise more cash and bring in more players that can help then in their Championship play-off push.

The club, managed by Tony Mowbray have gone down the table in recent weeks and have battled several injury crises as well as a loss of form and consistency.

The players expected to leave will include some youngsters who need some minutes to help their development and the wantaway ones. Here is the lost if the expected departures.

Adam Armstrong

Adam is Blackburn’s best player and also one of the best in the Championship this season. He has scored 16 goals in just 23 appearances so far this term and the club will want to keep hold of him but may be forced to sell him once a fat bid comes in.

Ryan Nyambe

The right-back has also been in fine form this season and is another player the club won’t want to let go, but with a number of European clubs interested, it may be hard to keep hold of him.

Joe Rothwell

The 25-year-old is currently flourishing on loan at Fleetwood and is expected to stay there till the season ends. He may join Fleetwood permanently as he is no longer needed at Ewood Park.

John Buckley

Buckley has enjoyed some stints with the first-team this season but has been touted to leave on loan this window. The 21-year-old may find games hard to come by and will surely benefit from a loan move.
